Leave Italy si rivolge a chi ha intenzione di dare una svolta alla propria vita e intraprendere un’esperienza all’estero.
Prima di partire per l’Inghilterra, nell’estate del 2011, ho fatto numerose ricerche e mi sono documentato a fondo, in modo da aumentare le mie probabilità di successo, tuttavia ricordo ancora che non tutte le informazioni erano chiare e certe cose rimanevano oscure, e ho avuto modo di scoprirle solo di persona in terra straniera.
Sarebbe stato bello se ci fosse stato un sito o un blog che raccogliesse in modo completo e strutturato le informazioni di cui avevo bisogno.
Da qui nasce l’idea di Leave Italy: condividere la mia esperienza, senza fronzoli e giri di parole, affrontando in modo diretto e il più completo possibile le diverse fasi dell’espatrio.
Nel caso specifico tratterò della mia esperienza a Londra.
... e in futuro non sono da escludere delle collaborazioni con connazionali che hanno vissuto in altre città!

Leave Italy mission is to help and support italian people who are willing to live abroad.
My name is Jacopo, Italian IT professional, I studied in Pavia and worked for one year in Milan.
Back in the summer of 2011, just before moving to England, I gathered many information and I tried to plan my new life abroad in the best possible way, to achieve a positive and successful result.
I remember it was not easy to find all the information I needed and, although the web offers plenty of resources, many things remained unclear and I could only find them out when I moved.
How beautiful and helpful would have been if I could have had access to the information I needed back then!
This is why I created Leave Italy: to share my experience abroad, publish useful resources and help my fellow countrymen to move abroad.
My main focus, for now, will be London.
